ADM-CID or native SIA-DCS
Use TCP or UDP with optional AES where the receiver supports the configured SIA DC-09 profile, including validated ACK / NAK / DUH handling.
AlarmForgeX acts as the premises-side health reporting layer: qualified CCTV, VMS, UPS and supported device faults can be routed to configured monitoring-centre receivers using SIA DC-09 or CSV/IP/T4000, with queue, retry, acknowledgement, primary/secondary failover and commissioning evidence visible to the installer.
AlarmForgeX is not a monitoring-station receiver. It creates and routes qualified health events from supported systems to a receiver or approved local gateway that you configure. SIA DC-09 is an IP alarm-transmission protocol used between premises systems and monitoring-centre receivers; AlarmForgeX uses it here for configured technical health reporting.
Use TCP or UDP with optional AES where the receiver supports the configured SIA DC-09 profile, including validated ACK / NAK / DUH handling.
Use the configurable framed TCP path for compatible monitoring receivers or local gateway workflows with explicit acknowledgement modes.
Where appropriate, SIA DC-09 can use either another SIA receiver or CSV/IP/T4000 as the secondary path, with return to primary on subsequent events.
AlarmForgeX is not an alarm receiving centre and does not replace receiver infrastructure. It behaves as a software transmitter for configured technical health events so integrators can commission CCTV faults into the monitoring path already used by the customer.
AlarmForgeX reporting has been exercised against live monitoring receiver infrastructure as well as local emulators. This is interoperability evidence, not a claim of universal receiver compatibility or third-party certification.
Live testing has covered ADM-CID and native SIA-DCS payloads, matching receiver ACKs, DC-09 NULL heartbeat/supervision, fault and restore events, and descriptive SIA text. Signal presentation was also verified in a commercial monitoring workflow.
Live CSV/IP testing has covered commissioning traffic, heartbeat, camera and UPS fault/restores, Area / Zone mapping and descriptive text, with the compatible receiver returning the complete transmitted frame as its acknowledgement.
Ports, account conventions, text handling, encryption and event presentation vary by receiver environment. Commission the actual monitoring provider before treating a path as operational.
A useful commissioning conversation is specific. The installer and monitoring provider should agree the transport, account, event mapping and acknowledgement behaviour rather than assuming that a protocol name alone guarantees interoperability.
Confirm SIA DC-09 ADM-CID or SIA-DCS, or the exact CSV/IP/T4000 framing expected by the receiving environment.
Confirm TCP or UDP, receiver addresses and ports, firewall policy, primary/secondary routing and any approved gateway requirements.
Agree the receiver account, Area / Zone structure and event codes used for the CCTV health conditions the monitoring team wants to action.
Where applicable, confirm encryption profile, credentials, heartbeat/supervision expectations and failure handling.
Verify the expected acknowledgement behaviour and how NAK, DUH, timeout or malformed responses should be handled during commissioning.
Run direct primary and secondary tests and retain receiver evidence before treating the reporting path as operational.
The reporting workspace keeps the delivery lifecycle visible so an installer can see whether an event was merely created or actually made it through the configured path.
A supported camera, recorder, VMS, UPS or other monitored device changes into a reportable health condition.
AlarmForgeX applies site and reporting configuration and maps the condition to its account and Area / Zone.
The event enters the persistent delivery queue and uses the configured CSV/IP or SIA DC-09 path.
Delivery history keeps attempts, retries and available receiver acknowledgement evidence together.
Receiver reporting is being positioned as part of the core health-monitoring workflow rather than a customer-facing point count. Health licences include receiver-reporting capability where configured; internal entitlement fields remain an implementation detail.
Reporting is deliberately explicit about what AlarmForgeX does—and what still needs commissioning.
Yes. Qualified health faults and restores can be sent through configured SIA DC-09 or CSV/IP/T4000 paths where the receiving environment supports the selected profile.
No. AlarmForgeX is the premises-side health monitoring and reporting application. The monitoring centre still provides the receiver, operator software and response workflow.
Yes. Account format, event mapping, transport, encryption, heartbeat and acknowledgement behaviour should be tested with the actual receiver before service handover.
Yes. Live interoperability testing has exercised SIA DC-09 ADM-CID, SIA-DCS, NULL supervision and receiver acknowledgements, plus CSV/IP exact-echo acknowledgement with fault, restore, heartbeat and descriptive-text traffic. Receiver-specific commissioning is still required.
AlarmForgeX supports configured primary and secondary reporting paths, including supported SIA-to-SIA and SIA-to-CSV/IP/T4000 failover scenarios.
Use AlarmForgeX to bring supported infrastructure into one Windows operations view, then enable professional reporting paths where the site requires them.
