WHY LOCAL-FIRST MATTERS

Security monitoring should not create a new cloud dependency by default.

Some CCTV environments deliberately limit internet access, inbound connectivity or vendor-cloud services. AlarmForgeX is designed so the core health function can stay close to the devices it monitors.

Does AlarmForgeX require an AlarmForgeX cloud service?

No. Core health monitoring and operational history run on the local Windows host.

Can it work with controlled outbound access?

Yes, subject to the site design. Receiver, email or other external paths can be configured only where they are approved and reachable.

Can it report to a monitoring centre without exposing cameras to the internet?

Potentially, yes. AlarmForgeX can send qualified health events through configured SIA DC-09 or CSV/IP/T4000 paths while the CCTV devices themselves remain on their local network. The exact route depends on the site and receiver architecture.

Is this a government or cyber-security certification?

No. AlarmForgeX makes no such certification claim. The site owner and integrator remain responsible for the approved security architecture and controls.
